A majority of people believe that cutting someone out of their lives will help protect ones self from dealing with any negative emotional triggers.
Most of the time, instead of dealing with the issue head on, we sometimes feel better by just removing someone out of their life entirely. However when this comes up it can prevent the opportunity for growth and forgiveness.
At times you can even feel that you aren’t able to manage your emotions and lack setting healthy boundaries in relationships or at work. Not putting those boundaries in place can have a negative effect in your life to the point where you later on find difficulty in moving on, trusting in relationships or even learning from the experience.
With that being said, being emotionally triggered in stressful situations can become draining. This however we can work on together through doing the healing work. Not only will you learn how to manage your emotions, but you’ll also learn how not to feel triggered in stressful situations.
